ConTech — Civil × Software

Cloud-Based Construction Site Management & Contractor Billing Software

Generic project software does not understand an RA bill, a measurement sheet, or what it means when the site has consumed 60% of the cement against 40% of the BOQ. We do — we prepare those documents by hand for other clients. This is that same civil knowledge turned into a tool your site engineer can use from a phone.

What You Receive

  • Project and work-order master with BOQ imported from Excel
  • Measurement book entry from the site, item by item
  • Running Account (RA) bill generation with deductions and retention
  • Material inward, issue and closing stock register per site
  • Labour attendance with contractor-wise daily count
  • Consumed vs BOQ budget reconciliation with variance alerts
  • Photo-tagged daily progress report with date and location
  • Owner dashboard covering all sites in one view

Streamline RA Bills, Measurement Sheets and Site Records

RA bills are where contractors lose the most time and the most money — time in preparing them, money in items measured on site and then forgotten by the time the bill is typed. When measurements are entered at the site against BOQ items, the bill assembles itself: previous quantity, current quantity, cumulative, deductions, retention and net payable, in the format the client already accepts.

  • Measurements entered on site against the actual BOQ item
  • Previous, current and cumulative quantities carried automatically
  • Retention, mobilisation recovery and TDS handled in the bill
  • Bill printed in the format your client department accepts

Real-Time Material Consumption vs BOQ Budget Reconciliation

Material leakage on a site is rarely discovered while it is happening — it shows up months later when the cement account does not add up. Here, every inward challan and every issue slip updates the stock, and the system compares actual consumption against the theoretical quantity the executed BOQ items should have needed. A 12% cement variance shows up in week three, not at project close.

  • Theoretical vs actual consumption for cement, steel, sand and aggregate
  • Variance alert the moment a material crosses its tolerance
  • Inward challan and issue slip logged with photo proof
  • Site-wise and contractor-wise consumption comparison

Built by Civil Engineers, for Contractors and Builders

This is the one thing a pure software company cannot copy easily. We already prepare BOQs, BBS and bill audits as a service, so the software knows what a lap length is, why a plaster quantity is measured net of openings, and what a site engineer will and will not type into a phone at four in the afternoon. That is why the screens are short and the vocabulary is the one used on site.

  • Terminology your site team already uses — no translation needed
  • Entry screens short enough to fill standing on a slab
  • Reports in the format clients and departments already accept
  • We can also prepare the BOQ itself, then load it into the system

How It Works

  1. Demo on your own project

Send one live BOQ and one recent RA bill. We load them and show you the flow with your own numbers rather than a sample project.

  2. Configure sites, items & bill format

Your projects, BOQ items, labour contractors, material list and RA bill template are set up in your own instance.

  3. Pilot on one site

One site runs on the system for a month while the rest continue as usual. Site engineers get trained on the two or three screens they will actually use daily.

  4. Roll out to all sites

Once the pilot billing cycle closes cleanly, remaining sites are added and the owner dashboard covers the whole portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions

The core modules — BOQ, measurement book, RA billing, material register, labour attendance — already exist, so you are not paying to build them from scratch. What gets built for you is the configuration on top: your bill format, your deduction rules, your approval chain and any reports specific to your client departments.
